who sells legge locks now?

also worth trying E aldridge , buy the asec lock which is the legge lock in a different colour and under a different name, but exact same lock at half the price of the legge.

but are they the same spec,as in british standard out of interest

Exactly the same spec, they are the same lock in every way and made in the same factory, just under £8 each to us as asec from aldridges.

 

There is no difference between the 2 locks other than colour and name on the faceplate. all BS3621-2007 , and identical to legge as same parts and same cases.

yep, derek the cheapest way with exactly the same lock is the Asec only through aldridges. like rapid says only difference is the colour and stamped asec instead of legge on the faceplate.

I fit these asec locks all the time excellent value for money for the customers cant go wrong with them.
