mrkeys
More Ultion questions hope some one can help So I created a card for my ninja, I've cut around 50 keys successfully for customers as well as around 10 for some test locks I have in the shop Sunday had 2 back from the same cusotmer, recut, then had to recut again - cant get them to work, done nothing different to any other time and we can still cut to our test locks perfectly fine. It was a wmx The blanks we used were HD X - Could it be the blanks that were the problem? Are silca blanks better and if so what is the X equivalent? That's the first question Second question is what do blank I cut Ultion keys on that begin with an A code? just got my first one in today, oh and can I cut them on the same card I created for the WMX or do they have different depths and spacing? Thanks in advance guys I know someone will come through for me

We have sorted our issues with Brisant and only use genuine blanks and have no problems at all with them. We did test some of the TX-22 blanks i was sent as samples and they where hit and miss on my stocked cylinders, some worked some didn't. lock&quay
When using the HDx blank to cut the x version I decode the original key with my Miracle MS10 & add plus 1 to all the cuts . It has worked every time so far .

grahamparker
Cannot cut them yet, have to buy the locks to get the blanks. Got 1 in as a sample as i thought the Brisant D blanks may have fitted. Not a lock i am interested in selling as we either sell budget (asec vital) or 3 star. We have sold over well over 1000 Asec vital cylinders this year alone but less than 50 3 star cylinders. Never seen the point in 1 star cylinders even if you add 2 star handles to make 3 star certification, for the extra cost you may as well just buy the 3 star anyway. Also avoids repeating stock for each size in each classification. lock&quay and mrkeys

I'm going to switch from Vital to Iseo R6 EN 1303 as the return on the keys is a lot better , for some reason I find people are happy to pay more for a dimple key . As the R6 doesn't have anti snap the customer can see the benefit up upgrading to a 3star that I've started selling more of also .
