We have a filter system at the moment as its in our shop but it is very expensive to replace the filters. We're moving it to another larger unit which I can extract through the external wall. I was just wondering what system you guys and girls use? Sorry if this thread has been discussed before on here but couldn't find anything. Mick Friend Posted February 27, 2018 Report Share Posted February 27, 2018 Not quite the same but in my workshop I used foul water tube 5 inch wide and fitted gates above machines, a powerful extraction unit sucks 99% of sawdust out. Fumes I would suspect would travel easier as long as you sealed the pipe with the pipe cement so no leaks, flexible tube is available, just need a good quality fan on the outside wall. You could maybe uses a smaller bore pipe, must be able to construct something that works -The do kits for internal toilet room to take smells out to the air.....
