Simes
14 degrees according to my Triax and Silca software. I'm currently struggling with this one decoded and cut on the Futura. Any thoughts? I'm thinking the 1 cut dimple is too small? The track doesn't look the same but I'm told that's normal??
grahamparker
Cuts from the head to the tip A 11232 B 3112 (looks like you have a 2 first) C 1121 I had to manually adjust my cutting cards in the Silca software on the A/B axis as the cuts where not deep enough even after calibrating the jaw/tracer and cutter. Lock Stock
There's two cards for these on Silca 3 height and 4 height (the + being the 4 height). You can see on the deep cuts, which card its from. The Magnum's use a 3 height key and the Yale's use the 4 height key cards. But even with the 4 height cards you only use the 3 height and not the 4. Thanks Graham, Looking at C I note that the machine has decoded the same as you "1121" I notice that on the original key it looks as if there is an additional cut, but from memory I can ignore this, am I correct? grahamparker
It is down to the way the Silca machine cuts the key, after each cut mine returns to the 1 position so the C cuts look incorrect. So if you had a 2222 instead of a straight line it would be up and down in a zig zag motion.

I didn't need to make any manual adjustments this time.
