Mattsson
Hi there! We have bought a Gravograph IS200 with Gravostyle 7 Discovery software. When they showed us the machine and software it was easy to 2d infill fonts and graphics, but when we got it delivered it turns out we didnt buy the same version they showed us. Frustrating. They have agreed to give us a discount on software upgrade, but it is still to much money for us. So my question is, Are there any other ways make 2d infill with this or other software compatible with the IS200? I have tried making fills in Illustrator and then exporting to gravostyle. It works but it´s alot of extra work for something this simple. Im very grateful for any tips and tricks! Returning the machine and software does not seem to be an option unfortunately... Apologies for my bad english.

k4mrc
seems wrong to demonstrate a machine and then sell you something completely different? imho
bevellar
what you have to do is, highlight the part you need infilled say for talking sake a true type letter , then find the infill tool on tool bar, should take you to another screen . tell it to do a 2Dinfill from drop down and it shouuld be shown on that screen as in filled ,

beware
Inkscape combined with the Eggbot plugin can generate hatch fill (sweeping) A little more information here: http://wiki.evilmadscientist.com/Creating_filled_regions Contour fill could be applied by repeatedly applying inkscape's inset tool, and I'm surprised no one has written a script yet to do something like that. Unfortunately not my area of expertise. It's still not as fast as using GS tool properties or the CAM module (Discovery Max and Graphic level respectively).
