grahamparker
Have a word with either Keyprint or Codringtons, they should help. Don't expect them cheap though.
DC77
I think that Assa called them break domes. Used for emergency access ie fire escape. Clamped to the inside of a thumb turn you need to "break" it to open the door. As far as I know they are no longer available. But Union do a similar product. DC77
See if :- http://www.aldridgesecurity.co.uk/p-588 ... -turn.aspx is any good for your customer. You should be able to earn some brownie points, going the extra mile to keep the customer happy. DC
Michael
I showed the maintenance guy those ones, but he said they were no good. The staff keep smashing them off so they can go out for a fag The buildings they are fitted to are realy old so will try and convince him to change them all to these ones
grahamparker
I would suggest fitting door alarms to stop the staff breaking them off just to have a fag.
DC77
Does not make a lot of sense. They want to buy Assa because they break them and don't want to buy the Union ones because they will break them. Sounds like a typical customer who wants to waste everyones time including their own. Michael
The maintenance man is mate of mine (used to be my saturday boy for a couple of years!) that lives in the same town but his work is all based on the outskirts of London. A lot of the bits like this that he needs he can get from a Locksmiths in central London called Barry Bros. He wanted to try and throw a bit of business my way, and it's easier for him if I order the stuff in and he picks up of an evening, rather than wasting hours getting into central London, parking then getting out again!!!
