Nah, so many round here doing just that - I cannot see the profit in it?

There's no-one in our area doing mobile phone repairs, and we are often asked if we do them. It seems like a good additional service to offer. Where should we look for information on what can or shouldn't be doing?

I think that is the answer, if your getting asked for it all the time then perhaps it's worth doing, if you never or rarely get asked then probably not worthwhile. I can remember being asked about half a dozen times in 4 years so for us that indicates that people wouldn't think of coming to me or else there isn't a demand. Therefore on top of the equipment I would need to spend money on promoting the service too.

 

Just my personal opinion. Best thing is to take a tally for a month or so of how many times you get asked then make a judgement based on that.

Thanks, but I was looking more for advice on which repairs we could consider offering, which to definitely avoid, and where to source parts.
