kobblers
I had a key in today with TE2X on it (Silca). What does the X mean as I have TE2s - are they the same? I noticed in the Dav Burg catalogue that there is also a ULO50X Cheers, Rick.
grahamparker
Aldridges supply the TE2X when you order TE2 and have been doing so for a while, not exactly sure why but they work ok and we have had no problems cutting them with the X on them. DC77
As far as I know the addition of an X at the end of a key code indicates that the blank is longer in the total length. Think of it as being eXtra. The key way is the same but the additional length allows the bow to clear an escutcheon or similar. I could be proved wrong. DC.
