ldv convoy

problem with immobiliser as follows

 

flashing red light as per normal when key out of ignition.......ie immobiliser armed

 

on turning key to start engine, immobiliser flashing red quickly and engine wont start

 

have tried all the usual forumn type fixes to no avail

 

so vehicle details below

sounds like its missing the transponder?

Or broken transponder chip.

 

We have had a few in for ldv and transits where the glass has broken and released the liquid and they will not work anymore.

These can be a real pain ,even though light flashes fast it is not always key related ,these vans suffer from lots of wiring problems if duratorq engine ,wiring between PCM and fuel pump is common if you want to see the job through pm me and I will help you. I have all the wiring diagrams for these

Any help with this issue will be much appreciated , just changed my ignition barrel and van won't start ignition lights come on etc but nothing else , immobilizer light just flashing fast
