x minit uk
Just a little advice please, I need to engrave a whiskey glass for a friends retirement and was wondering what is the best font to use on glass to make it stand out as much as possible, and also what type of infill, if any I should use. I have the vistool software. Thanks muchly
StevenB
I would suggest you start with any outline font, use a 0.2mm hatch fill & finish it off with a coat of rub 'n' buff. Which font you use is up to you. Times roman headline for a more formal look, zaps for something more interesting, or my personal favourite Murray Hill Bold is more informal but works well. Take a pic & let us know how it turns out.
Dean
Depends completely on the size of the letters really?

Gray
Zapf is nice as is Gando (No not Ghandi) but numbers are small in Gando and look a bit weired in a date for example (2nd June 2013). Although you could resize them. As Steve said .2mm hatch fill depending on size of letters. Not sure about the Rub & Buff on something that could possibly be used on a daily basis....Does it wash out?...........
