Gravograph IS200

Hi,

I have got a Gravograph IS200 but my software seems to have a fault (gravostyle quick) the data cable on the IS200 is a parallel port cable but I think the last time I used the software on another machine it used the USB port. I cant seem to change the port setting. I am going to try a USB to parallel port adapter but in the mean time does anybody know of a free or cheap program that the IS200 will run on.

if your using a parallel port then you'll also need a dongle I think? what is the fault your experiencing?

I'm am using Gravostyle Quick Click ver 2.37 with this version no dongle is used. I have the machine running on Vistool 6 free download and it works fine but withe Quick Click the job goes over to the machine but on pressing start nothing happens.

On another subject does anybody know if the free version of Vistool last forever if so thats fine I will use that I would like the more intermediate version but dont know what the price is and I cant seem to contact Vistool which I think is owned by visual toolbox. Has the site gone down or have they gone broke?

The vistool software comes from U-Marq, give them a call on 01908 623522 & they'll sort you out.

I'm not certain or an expert but I think Quickclick is usb use and an emulator scrambles things so wont work with parallel. Maybe Mario or Kev might help?

Hi yes Im using the right driver, the program goes over to the machine but when pressing start nothing happens, the driver is using LPT1 port with a Gravograph cable.

Do Gravograph still support Gravostyle 98. The last time I spoke to them they did not. Just a thought.
