Mick Friend
In My opinion you have to buy the best you can afford - and it depends on your market I have used Silca, orion, Jakey, and many others never had a problem apart from wear and idiot staff thinking they can grind a key down by applying huge pressure what problems did you have and on what machine? When my silca record blew up I bought a SKS storm it's served me well but cutting merchant keys the original key if its got the first deep cut the blank head would hit the side of the machine It's a very compact machine Landrover wanted me to cut one of there new defender 90 keys using a original blank , it won't fit it's too long & the jigs seem too deep , if I get a cylinder key in with a very deep cut its below the line of jig Someone did say the jigs are four sided only prob is when SKS rep was down He spun the jigs to a higher clamp & it cuts deeper ?? Adjust the machine set it up on one side & spin jaws to another side & it's all out ?? I was looking at a bravo
