Ridgeback
Tried to clone the above yesterday. Snoop only lit up light 1. Thinking the key pickup was not positioned properly, tried it in different places but still wouldn't sniff a 2nd time, despite resetting snoop a few times. Also noticed that snoop light 1 came on as soon as inserted into the ignition, didn't need to turn ignition. This is first time I've seen this happen in 2 years, but this is the 1st Chrysler I've tried it on. Anyone shed any light why the 2nd light does not come on. Keydoctor
I've found with Chrysler its better to hold the snoop horizontal, and when you cycle the key, take the key fully out of the ignition before 2nd cycle. HTH
grahamparker
some vehicles you only need to insert the key for the snoop to pick up the info it requires(not turn the key). Remove the snoop and wait 10 seconds then reinsert, this should cure the problem.
Ridgeback
Thanks Graham, I'm used to waiting just a couple seconds between readings. Doesn't help with the customer leaning over your shoulder either. I thought I'd read somewhere that Chrysler only needed a single reading, obviously not. lock&quay
I found on fiat 500 s I have to wait full 20 seconds . I have had both lights come on straight away but all OK .
