stevecoco
Hi Guys had a friend in today who is looking for a pair of boots for his wife, she needs Doc Martens or similar......BUT she needs a zip in the back of the boot. She cannot straighten her leg to get into the boot conventionally so my friend is asking if this would be possible and at what cost. Over to you guys

theshoeman9
I have replaced a zip in a Doc Martin for a woman this week, so you must be able to buy them with zips in ? Alternately i would charge £25 - £ 30 per boot depending on length of zip.

elfman
have you all missed his point or have you not read the post correctly " wants the zip up the back of the boot not the side " the lady cannot bend her foot hence the zip in the back so she can slide her foot in
theshoeman9
Thats easy enough. Remove tape. Cut seam, insert zip. I've done it a few times on riding boots.

elfman
price for what steve i.e supplying boots and fitting zip or just fitting zip if the latter then it would just be the cost of fitting new zips and that would depend on the length of the zip but most on here could do it for you and they will all have there own price
