Metal Stamp

Hi can anyone point me in the right direction where to have a metal stamp made with our company details on for stamping key blanks.

 

I dont want to go down the route of having the keys coined.

you could give Davenport Burgess a call - 01902 366448

they supplied me with one which is very useful now with all the 'boot sale keycutters' cause after the customer finds the key not working they call into me saying "you cut this on saturday" - to which we look for the stamp.

i contacted Davenports today regarding a stamp for the keys and was told they don't do them,has anoyone any other contacts they know of?

I haven't deal with either of these companies directly for some years, but you could try:

These are companies that actually make the stamps (i.e. any locksmith/key cutting supply house you deal with is likely to be acting as agent for these guys). If they won't deal with you direct, then they should be able to point you in the right direction.

We can still supply the hand stamps. Have asked in the office, and we had an enquiry

the other day for a machine, but not a hand stamp.

I bought a stamp last year from an English company that manufacture medals for the trophy industry. Cost £55 .....a lot cheaper than I was being quoted by the regular keyblank suppliers. Can't remember their details but I will check it out and post at a later date.

I thought that Silca stuff was far too expensive ,Ive gone for using SKS making me some Funkey style stick ons with my details on ,they have really worked for me & really stand out .
