k4mrc
Insurance or No Insurance that's the question? I have been talking on and off to a repairer (cant say who) he is in financial difficulty, overdraft, credit cards + loans. anyhow seems it is so bad his renewal is up for Insurance within the last 5 weeks, he has not renewed it, which I can understand in his predicament, despite me suggesting perhaps he should just renew employment and public liability and nothing else he has done none, without his knowledge I have put this topic on here, with the hope that people will think that in the situation he is in would they do the same? my question to you is - Insurance or No Insurance - if you are in a pickle, what's the way to go? Mick Friend
If your that deep in the sh1t then insurance is hardly worth worrying about. It may be a great time to sit back write down the debts minus no capital -expected income and work out if it's time to say 'goodbye' It a very, very hard decision ask me how I know sometime, especially if the house is wrapped up in the deal. But how many hits has he had on the insurance? if None maybe he can run the risk - many car driver did until ANPR. Can he cut overheads - staff loyalty is one thing the kids starving so the staff can sit in the bog reading a paper isn't Is it worth anything to sell are timo's looking for a branch? Failing all that I used to be a fire investigator - renew the insurance and I can set him a fire noboddy will find the cause of
petercoulson
hmmm, I would always say insurance should always be kept up to date and this would go particularly if they are self employed rather than limited. If its that bad then time to walk away surely?
keithm
I'm afraid I agree with Mick here. If things are that bad, is it worth staying in business! Spend the time looking at the business and the insurance issue will sort itself
