richard wood
Hi, I am trying to source this key blank. It was originally an Abus shared restricted section which I gather is no longer restricted. The only reference I have is 64302 profile H16D. Does anybody know of a key blank which can be used for this? I can still order from Abus but minimum order quantity is now 1000. Thanks, Richard
richard wood
I thought I had added photos to this but it seems the files are too big, I will try to re-size and then add.

grahamparker
I have the H49D section and have had to place my final order for these blanks last october and was told no more would be available through abus any longer (Coined) but uncoined may still be available for a short period of time.Basically i think this meant untill they have used up all the stock in germany. The Abus 5 pin system was deemed unsuitable for the current uk market after Abus and CK Tools had there fall out a couple of years ago and therefore all support for these cylinders will be coming to an end. I have always dealt with Terry Crossley of Abus UK and he is very helpfull and knowlegeable and it has been mentioned that abus may release the blanks details to silca who would then be able to produce copy keyblanks (but you may still have to order in quanteties of a 1000). As far as i am aware this ha not been done yet. Your only other way is to have the blank profiled on the easy entrie machine. There is a forum member who offers this service to other members (Think its Craig) but im sure he or someone will offer this service for you. richard wood
Thanks for the replies guys, Graham the information you have from Abus is pretty much same as what I have (but didn't know about the silca bit), so may have to order the 1000, wait 12 weeks and pay double the price they used to be were when they were coined! Craig its going to be more than just a few but If I run out of blanks before the order comes in I will be in touch, thanks. Richard
Mick Friend
just seen this if you want I could post the details on the ICL and MLA forums, maybe someone holding surplus stock there, best PM me your e-mail if you want me to do that. grahamparker
Try ringing Terry Crossley on 07870559908 he may be able to tell you who else shared your section, unless it is your own section then its got to be a larger order. It may be cheaper and easier to go for the uncoined and have a metal stamp made. We have a basic stamp with our name and phone number on.
sleutel
Hi, Would silca´s AB83 be of any help? This should be the passkey for this system. Also AB61 might be of any help. The customers who went in (3 different sections) did not came back. Roger
