Phone Billing

Shortly after I went to XLN I had a fault on the line & it was sorted out inside 24 hours. VERY efficiant.

Switched over yesterday to xln no probs....except....EMAIL!!

 

Anyone here on xln that uses outlook express or an iphone for email?

I've put the settings in they gave me and the smtp server is verified but the pop3 server keeps saying wrong username or password.I am wondering if it's them because the username and password are the same for smtp and pop3 protocols, so if ones verified then so should the other.Anyone having problems downloading emails in the last couple of days?

 

Or I'm just missing a little setting somewhere that's right in front of my face and I can't see it...

i am with xln and use outlook, first time round i hade same problem, phoned customer service(india )

nice chap gained remote access to my pc and sorted it in a flash

to this day still dont know what was wrong but its working fine till i decide to upgrade my pc etc

by the way if like me you hate 0870 0845 numbers heres landline number for their customer service which would still take you same place india but from xln uk office rather than your shop

xln all the way been with then 3 to 4 years now no problems at all if someone phones up with a better deal i just phone up xln have a chat with them always works for me
