hakeemz
well chap from gravo phone and gained access to my pc set it all up and sent the job to machine , but machine says going back to origin but actually stuck at one place making horrible noise(while he is on the phone). he reckons something wrong with the machine and have to call out engineer which would cost£££££
ironplanet uk900
Try deleting the machine, and reinstalling it, and be sure you've installed the correct mache, although you should have the correct machine installed if the job is being sent. Sometimes you may have a corrupt file, I have had that happen on a few occasions. Also try moving the head side to side and back and forth, but you can only do this when the machine is switched off. !!
Lee
Me too, delete machine & re-install Lee
Lee
Also switch of & one the engraver, as this resets it sometimes! Lee
hakeemz
i dont want to mess about with the machine i think i will wait till i have spoken to an engineer
ironplanet uk900
Your not messing with the machine, your just un-installing the machine from your software, then re-installing it. You will have to do this on many occasions if your going into computerised engraving, they do things that even an engineer can't explain sometime. It sounds to me that its lost its origin...maybe during transit.
hakeemz
i meant physical mess about as far as software reinstall is concerned i have just done that but no luck

ANDY
Always worth having a bit of a fiddle first. enginners = ££££ i have just slid the head on mine back and forth when off and it still works fine, bang in the centre i had a sticky rotary attachment before. no idea what the problem was, but i carefully took it apart making notes as i went, bit of a clean put back together and have not had a problem since also did the same with my laser when the belt became slack, bit of detective work and found the correct bolt to tighten
Lee
I've reinstalled my machine a few times now, it occasionally glitches after i've gone from flat work to curved or viscera HERES HOW! As far as I'm aware you can't damage the machine or software by playing with the program???? Lee
hakeemz
in off position i can move it in and out but not side ways
