kobblers
There is a Union 3 lever lock attached to my greenhouse door that looks like it's been welded on and I need a replacement key for it as there isn't one. Short of buying one of each Union 3 lever pre-cut is there any way of finding out which differ it is? C'mon Tel, you ain't let us down yet Cheers, Rick. Mick Friend
If you cut a blank down to a Number 1 cut in each position depending on which way it is in the door either 123 or 345 or course the bolt is No 1 height as well - and put it in the lock it will turn full circle when its under a No 1 lever - But not the bolt - as the lock always has a number 1 that will cut down you key requirement if your lucky to have two No ones eureka Welded is unusual as they dont like that much heat sure its not just rusted in? else its then a matter of trying all the keys with a No 1 in that position and hope I remembered it right
kobblers
I have no idea what a No.1 cut is on a mortice key Even though I can make a key to a stripped lock. I take it you're a lockie? Cheers anyway. Rick.

Mick Friend
If your using genuine blanks the height of the blank is No 1 if not cut it down until it enters the keyway and will engage the bolt talon or Get another 3 lever lock take it apart and move the No 1 to each of the three positions it can occupy and make a key by hand to that setting or get a cut key the tallest two steps are number one or call a locksmith give up and buy a new greenhouse - must be wakibaki for a 3 lever lock

kobblers
Thanks for all the help folks, i managed to get the lock off with a good drill I'll make a ket to it this week. The greenhouse came with the new house, i use it to store stuff in and i don't want the kids going in messing with my sharp tools. Some good info there guys Rick.
