Growster
Both are code keycutting questions, i.e., I have no access to the original keys: a) How do I cut a Compton garage door key stamped 788 to code? Below are 2 pics of a Chavo key, stamped 432. How can that be cut to code? The key is for a caravan, the pics are client-supplied, I thus don't know the size of the key. Your help is warmly appreciated, Chris from North London
welshwomble
Hi according to my software which admittedly needs updating the Chavo series is a Direct Code. the 432 doesnt mean anything to me. The Chavo series I have series 11111-66666 leves me to conclude, After viewing your pics which are difficult to view the bittings or direct code would appear to be "65235" if my eyes are any good. Probably Silca AB1R Keyblank As for your Compton key without seeing a pic it would be very difficult to identify for the correct code series. Hope this helps

Growster
I think Welshwomble had the right idea with the AB1R. By the way, thanks to all for your very helpful replies. Chris
