Lee
spray will crack & crumble & the shoes will return to haunt you. how bad is the damage? If minimal A. you need to put some colour back, yankee wax maybe. B. you need to put a shine on them, polish & a duster. If considerable A. think about your reputation first! B. Replace them & don't lose any sleep over them. Lee

Perplexus
Saddle Lac is flexible, but don't use more than one coat, or it's liable to crack. Another alternative would be Resolene, which is an acrylic finish, available from Le Prevo.

Guest darrenbooth
i'm sorry i thought the customer brought them in with a stain, but its still an option to offer the guy if he still wants the shoes.if not offer do to it and give him some money towards some new tan ones he might give you a break because you are trying to at least do something to help.we all mess up accidents happen so the aim should be to make sure your customer nows you messed up but you will do all you can to make it the laest incovenient as you can for them.
