CotswoldEngraver
Can some one help me out. A customer has requested a couple of engraved softwood plaques for their childrens bedroom doors, approx 5" x 1.5" engraved with a name and perhaps a picture of winne the pooh or something similar painted with a pastel colour then varnished. Could anyone do such a thing for me? If so i will get more details from the customer. Pm me if you can help

Pm me if you can help for this kind of job i use soft pine skirting boars which i cut to length on a table saw up stairs and then put through the router table to put nice edges on it then then v engrave it about 5mm deep then post you to stain infill or varnish yourself. if that would help you pm with more details. i can even quickly design one for you and get a computer generated picture of the final product and email it to you. Craig as the man said i'll quite happily cut you your pieces but you'll have to engrave and put the picture on yourself if all else fails. rick. Craig Gardner
on the plate i put on here the plate would be 10mm thick so i would v groove deep engrave the name 5mm into the plate and use a .25 cutter. and use the v carve option in my roland software on my egx 350.
