Gray
Not having a protractor about my person at this time I think a graft angle of about 8 or 9 degrees looks about right. Your angle is all ready there for you really if you buy cut soles. If your still using bends then you have to work it out for your self. When stitching soles on I start my groove about 10mm up from the end of the end of the sole. I also use tingles across the waists. Always have done always will do. If the shoes are welted and don't have a middle I don't stitch them especially plastic welts. I 1 coat the shoes and 2 coat the soles with 2 tingles each side. As for breathability I don't know that one Rick, Maybe leather isn't breathable maybe its a myth.Try and blow through a leather sole! Put one over your mouth hold your nose and see if you can breath. See you can't can you. And as for this It's bloody awful, I only started to see this years ago when the mutiples came along
alxfer
Well done Lee for putting up that tutorial. Judging by the comments, it seems everyone is an expert at 1/2 soles eh?
