Ski / hiking hook fitting equipment.

Hi 

Recommendations needed for a good quality ski hook/hiking eyelet fitting hand press and good solid hooks to go with it. I have a Vulcan press but that's just fine for normal eyelets very poor for hooks. I'm turning away lots of customers for something so simple.

Hi there, this is about the best one I know of, you buy the machine then the dies to go with whatever eyelets you get (they are matched usually)

You can still fit ski hooks without the press , just gently open them up and fit rivet before tapping back into shape.

It is easier with the press though.

you could just make a ski hook anvil ,pretty simple and easy to use ,you used to be able to get them from barnsleys

Yes I do it that way sometimes open it up and rivet and works but I'd like something more professional and solid, put it in the boot in pull down the handle and it's done . I appreciate all your input and I'll give a company a ring on Monday and see what's available.
