Irontoe
Hi all, I have a Gravograph M40 machine which is running the explorer package on gravostyle 7. I've been asked a few times recently if I can engrave logos and pictures so I was thinking of upgrading to the next software package. Whilst I investigate the upgrade can anyone suggest where I could get the logos converted so my machine will recognise them? What sort of file do they need to be so that they are recognised? Thank you,
JamesST
You should be able to convert them yourself using the gravostyle software you have, although not sure on all the versions but most have that ability. If not try https://convertio.co/plt-converter/ to convert images to plt files and import them
beware
Explorer can import EPS files if you have access to Corel or Illustrator. To convert image logos to vector logos yourself, you need Discovery Max level or above. You can try Inkscape (google it, it's free) which is quite powerful but I don't find it very intuitive.
