keysinthecity
So a while back I made a post about whether it was worth getting the carbide version of a cylinder key cutting blade. The consensus was that it wasn't worth it. It's more than double the price. But what about the TiN version? It's £10 more but do you get £10 more life out of the blade? I'm inclined to buy the basic blade and just replace it more often. And a corollary, any thoughts on Silca genuine blades vs "SKS Value" ie their own brand? Perplexus
Have you tried http://www.randrsecurity.com/Keys-Accessories/Key%20Machines-and-Accessories/Key-Machine-Accessories? We get all our blades from them . . . good prices and rapid delivery.
keysinthecity
Thanks, I had a look but they seem if anything a BIT pricier than SKS? But thanks for the tip!
grahamparker
http://www.foselect.com/index.php Have a dig through there, they are cheaper for a lot of my triax cutters. They manufacture for some of the machine manufacturers. The site is a bit quirky and sometimes cutters are there you just have to search hard.
