Urgent help needed

Recommended Posts

it's an easy enough repair,  you will need to remove the stem first in order to get the dial out of the casing, once you have the dial out place the stem back into it's position, if the movement has a date wheel on it, then pull the stem out and turn it until you see the date starting to change, this is 12 o'clock midnight, as soon as it turns to the following date, stop turning the stem, push it back in and align the hands up at 12 o'clock use tweezers to push the hands on if you don't have a hand replacement tool, if the watch has no date wheel then just align the hands up at 12 o'clock and press on. then turn the hands to make sure they don't catch on each other or hour markers(if there is any) remove the stem, replace dial inside watch, replace stem into the movement, jobs done.

hope that makes sense to you, i am sure Lee has done a tutorial on a movement replacement and if so, the steps you need to follow will be in there

sorry I posted this images on the topic, I thought I was replying to the private message stream. its not usually my style to post such images onto topics. But often send pictures through the PM system to put peoples minds at rest on jobs such as this.
