Simes
I have just purchased a new Silca Lancer and I'm finding that the vertical carriage adjustment appears difficult to tighten. From what I can see the red knob is tightened and loosened accordingly to raise and lower the cutting head for say bullet ward cuts and for radiused lever cuts on some Chubb keys. However, the slightest pressure on the lever with the switch and it moves. Am I missing something?
grahamparker
Drop the carriage down a bit then fasten the nut, at full height mine does exactly the same as yours, but if i move the carriage down about 15mm the screw goes in further and gives a more positive lock.
