Rooman
Hi folks ! Any help in identifying and obtaining a blank to make the key pictured would gratefully received, I'm told its a 1930's internal door key, it's shaft diameter is 5mm and it's overall length is 70mm Roo
Lee
if it was me I'd probably cut it on a rim lock blank (flag looks to be 19mm on your picture?) as these are about the 19mm, then if the customer was fussy about the length I'd cut it down & reweld the head on. But its easy for me to do that, I appreciate that might not be a solution for you. Lee
grahamparker
Rim blank would be my solution as well.
Rooman
Cheers Guys Looking at the dimension on the rim lock 130/5.5 that should do the trick, I've ordered some to give it a try. Once again cheers ! Roo
