busy bee
I wonder if anybody out there has one of these machines? I have one, and was using the EHS electronic heads to programme the Texas chips, but these are now discontinued. I was advised that the TK40 heads would programme, but I'm not having any luck. Can anybody advise an alternative to the EHS heads that will work?
Lee
depends on the key, but the TK60 is the one that runs on the key crypt

Mike Whale
The TK40 is the KL alternative to the EHS heads. (Texas) Can you tell me what exactly is happening when you try to clone using the TK40 heads? Error messages, etc? Regards Mike

I can do Texas chips, but in some it isn't like the Ford Texas, it's a little black chip, and I don't know where to get those from. I'm a bit of a novice I'm afraid. It sounds to me like you're trying to clone the key using the wrong type of transponder. If the machine doesn't list TK40 as an option after the original key has been read? If it only lists TPX1 as an option then that is all you can use. Let me know Regards Mike
grahamparker
Some early troopers are on the t5 chip.

I have always used the latter, but they have been discontinued and I am truly at a loss. I spoke to Peter @ lockdecoders, and he said the TK40 would work. Mike Whale
Ok, Have you ever used TK40 on this machine? The reason i ask is because these machines are sold with different levels of software onboard. If your machine has not got the TK40 module, then you won't be able to use those heads unless you upgrade to that module. Regards Mike
