kobblers
Can anyone confirm if JMA ASAK5 is the same key as Silca RU12 please? Edit: The same with HD RU-TL and AS-TL? Thanks, Rick.
grahamparker
Rick, According to my software HD AS-TL and RU-TL = Silca ASS178 All the same. Silca RU12 = HD RU-AK JMA AS-AK5 = Silca ASS15
kobblers
Cheers Graham. I'm sorting out the security blanks to save space and I suspected they were the same blanks. Rick.
Guest Cjm
I've been asked to post this in response to the postings: Be careful how you use these, AS-TL = ASS178 = 6 Pin Assa TL Section RU-TL = 5 Pin TL Section Ruko Length RU-AK = RU12 = 5 Pin AK Section Ruko Length AS-AK5 = ASS15 = 5 Pin AK Section Assa Length Though the sections are the same, there are differences in length and the configuration of the nose of the key can be important for the correct operation of the key. grahamparker
We have used 6 pin assa blanks when out of the 5 pin ruko versions and as long as you shape the end of the key to exactly the same as the original they work absolutely fine.
