Any Idea's on sticking Signs

Got some shop signs to stick onto wood outside, Signs are 5mm Foamex.

 

Any ideas what the best adhesive to use?

THESE should do the trick.

Failing that Araldite is always reliable, or perhaps at a push one of the no nails type of products.

You can't beat the reliability of a proper mechanical fixing though

I would have said araldite was too brittle for plastic on wood, but I don't know for sure. I would have thought something with a bit of flex as you say like a instant grab glue - or maybe a silicon based product.

But a 6" nail would be better

You can buy rolls of double sided sticky on Signmakers Warehouse 0845 6076195. I use this all the time when fitting shop signs, never failed yet. A word of caution, if in direct sunlight 5mm foamex will buckle if secured with screws if its a long length allow for expansion. Using the adhesive tape eliminates this as it moves with the heat. If on a pavement sign etc no problem.
