chrisorros
My air compressor for my press and guns was leeking alot of air, enough that the compressor had to be running constantly for the pressure to stay up. So on inspection i could feel the air coming from under the pressure switch. With some adive from my surplier (thanks peter) I could remove the pressure switch to see that the washer to the pressure switch had a rip corsing the problem. Only problem is that no one i can find will sell me just the washer. So i need to buy the switch to get the washer, which is around the same price as a new compressor. So does anyone know of a company that would just sell me the washer? The compressor in question is a Tiger Fini 262m 23050.
Hugh-Candoit (ENG)
If you get no joy from the trade suppliers try BSL ltd (Bearing Services) you will need the outer diameter plus the inner and the thickness. That is if it is what I think you are after, they carry all sizes of O Rings etc. May be worth a try if all else fails.
keithm
Good advice from Hugh. This is not a commonly supplied compressor and is available on the internet. But I can't see why the Company who make the things can't supply just the washer. As for the pressure valve needing replacement, it seems a little strange, but the same price as a NEW Compressor? Very odd indeed What press is this compressor operating? Fini are an Italian Compressor manufacturer, try here and see if they can help: http://typo3.finicompressors.it/index.php?id=18&L=1 If you have any further problems, give us a call and we'll see what can be done Keith

Hugh-Candoit (ENG)
It's not the thread that is causing the leakage Mick. Washers & O rings need to be replaced when worn, yer just dont mess about with Compressed Air (H&S). A leakage can cost more in operating costs than to fix the leak. petercoulson
I rather think the original post must have been a pop at the supplier rather than a cry for help as despite the offer we havent been contacted so wasnt that much of a problem it seems. If it was a pop it wasnt at a supplier as the compressor people wont be members
