Forest Cobbler
Hello all, Usually I would try to talk a customer out of having a pen engraved on the clip, because they move about. But sometimes you just have to do it anyway. Wrapping tape round the pen isn't always successful, so have any of you come up with another way of keeping the clip steady? Thanks, Valerie
StevenB
blu-tac either side of the clip to support it & then very tight masking tape.
Forest Cobbler
Hmm. Hadn't thought about supporting it with blutack under the tape. Thanks, I'll give that a go. V

Auto Key Wizard
Gravograph & other manufactures have a pen jig with clip attachment. I've had mine years & works well
Forest Cobbler
I've got a pen jig, actually I've got two, but neither have a clip attachment. And to be honest I don't want to pay that sort of price for something I would only use once in a blue moon, as most of our customers want the engraving done on the body of the pen anyway. Thanks for the suggestion though. V
