Desperately & Urgently Need Help !!!!!!

Doing the last line of a large brass plate on my gravograph vx (converted to an is600) and the belt snapped.

Has anyone got a spare belt its about 3mm thick and 203mm total length.

Can you not make one from leather strapping or thonging for now?

 

Or is there a hoover/washing machine spares shop near you where you could possibly get a temporary belt and alter it to fit?

The wifes tights are always a good backup. Many a broken fan belt saved by the tights of her indoors.

Sorry can't think of a funny so let's be practical instead! Pantograph Services sell all these belts 0113 249 6161 as do Gravograph. If you get this email before close of post today let me know and I can put one in post for Monday - unless you're anywhere near SN / BA / SP postcode and we'll have a jolly and deliver FOC

Knot was too big with this but got it finished with a normal round lace with knot superglued up.

Full marks for initiative - will keep this in mind as it may help others out when we do telephone support!!

Don't do diamonds / cutters - we concentrate on the repairs / servicing side of machines and controllers. Best to contact / try Pantograph (at least for prices)as they do belts / diamonds / cutters / materials etc
