inside ring engraving m40g iq??

Help bought this machine but cant for the life of me remember how to engrave inside rings with the attachment does not engrave very well looks like a childs scrawly handwriting, anyone got a idiots guide it would really help me out

1st thing - diameter multiplied by 3.142

then reverse the text on engraving box.

that should put you on the right track.

Get yourself some brass plumbing rings to mess about on

The childs handwriting thing sounds to me like the ring might be moving a little as you engrave it.

Reduce the diamond pressure or grip the ring tighter, but not too tight as you'll distort it!

As Andy says, plumbers olives are the bizz to practice on!

Cheers for the response guys going to give it a shot this afternoon, how do i line up the center of the ring and get the pressure right seem to remember the rep saying something about half a turn? (only thing i didnt write down!)
