Doncaster is shaping up to be a fantastic event this year, with the gala dinner on Saturday night & then this event amongst others on the day there will be plenty to see on the day.

I'm not sure the Birch Competition is for me, I just don't do "quick" however it will be fascinating to watch! I started my entry for the JR shoe repairer of the year yesterday. I got the shoes off Ebay a few months ago & they've been sitting on a shelve being polished daily ever since!

I might do the birch one, but I think my shoes will come in unfinished!

As StevenB will tell you from my chat room despair, I started my shoes yesterday & nearly throw them in the bin today, so far I've used 4 pairs of soles & the shoes are currently on my shelve ready to be STARTED (again!) who said it was easy!
