soles'n'eels
how often are you asked how long will it last when you have fitted a watch battery does anyone give a guarantee i only use renata batteries and i bet we all get "there only £2 in the market"
Lee
I give a printed guarantee on all my batteries, not just a till receipt & only get a handful back a year. Its helped build my reputation on watch repairs. When asked "how long" I always say that provided the movement is in good condition without to much wear the same as the manufacturers original. Web_Engraver
Watch batteries normally last 12-18 months depending on make of battery & condition of watch. Rayovac, Renata etc last longer than cheaper 'market batteries' like Vinnic.

I used to put a sticky dot in the back with the date I replaced the battery, I'm still getting batteries in with these & I stopped bothering in 2005!
