Lee
what's the strangest job you've had left uncollected? for me it was 4 tankards for a wedding. Customer brought them in needing them for a wedding in a couple of weeks, strange because A. they where nice ones & they weren't purchased from me.B. the customer paid for the engraving up front perhaps the wedding never took place, because this was a couple of years ago! Michael
Send em here and get some money for them. http://www.mazumamobile.com/ I sent 4 old phones off last week and within 5 days received a cheque for £46 and kept the green brigade happy in the process. ANDY
guy wanted me to re-engrave the correct date on a 5 pound coin because "they" got it wrong, told him i could not legally deface the coin. then he wanted it mounted on a board with the following inscription. "donated by st. barnardo in the year 2001 not 2004 as stated on this coin allowing for the missing three years misplaced by the gregorians" he also wanted me to fill out a loan application that he came in with, as he had a bad credit rating and he would pay me back weekly he paid up front with a giant can of coffee, a box of poker chips and an old lighter. petercoulson
do you think i overcharged him? depends on the interest rate you used, did you point out to him that there are now only 25 zorgs to the pound so it will cost a lot more?
