Andy_Davenport
New items introduced in this update Identification of new transponders: ID (A1) detection of new Volkswagen Megamos crypto transponders ID (A2) detection of new Audi Megamos crypto transponders ID (A3) detection of new Seat Megamos crypto transponders ID (A4) detection of new Skoda Megamos crypto transponders Ability to copy transponder type: ID (42) Philips Crypto * Note: With this update installed, the "Copy ID" function for Philips Crypto (ID 42) will no longer be operative. New Functions: New language: Greek * A feature of Philips Crypto transponders is an attached readable code or identifier (ID). Which is not the code needed to start the engine but is only a unique name or identity that is used for each transponder, this ID cannot be altered. This identifier is used by a vehicles crypto type ECU to check whether the transponder involved is already in its memory. Only if the ID is stored will the dealers diagnostics equipment be able to check and copy the concealed crypto code; which starts the engine. If the ID is not stored in the diagnostic units memory, the diagnostic unit must copy the ID and store it in memory before it can proceed to copy the concealed code. This update is free of charge. Michael
Does this mean it will copy Phillips Crypto keys? Do Keyline have any similar updates in the pipeline for the 883?

Guest Keyman
ID42 is just one of the many members of the Phillips crypto transponders. These are usually found in VW/Seat/Skoda upto 1999my Most common phillips crypto are ID40, ID41, ID44 & ID46 AD90 with Multicrypto device can copy all except ID46 and ID40 where the crypto side is used. Good to see silca moving into cloning of non-texas transponders, wonder if they will also work on non-battery heads to compete with JMA??

D-Power
I suggest RW4/FastCopy users (specialy for Greeks user) to update their machines to the latest version available: 01.00.033. With this release is fixed a bug when greek language is selected, and improves the copy of PH-CR ID42 transponders.
D-Power
--- Ability to copy transponder type: ID (42) Philips Crypto * Note: With this update installed, the "Copy ID" function for Philips Crypto (ID 42) will no longer be operative. a little hint: if you want to copy only ID on T5 key, you have to: - read ID42 key under "identification" and save to archive. - go in the archive and select the position where the key are saved - insert a T5 key and press "Write", this copy inly the ID on T5 keys of course as usual, the "Copy ID" function, works only for non Crypto immobilizer vehicles.
