Lee
I have just been working on the price survey & have come across the biggest inconsistency in price with this question Brass Plaque 150mm x 100mm engraved with “in memory of the shoe repairer forum 2006 - 2007†
Guest boonhead
i would charge for the brass eg £10.00 for 4x2 then charge £12.95 for a set up charge, then a £1.50 per word.what's the price of a sheet of brass nowadays. lee
hibsjo(SCO)
Lee you have to remember there are those that use 1mm brass and the rest of us use 3mm brass! you maybe didnt put enough info into the question ie. jewellers brass/trophy brass infilled or not its down to interpretation of the question its a mine field thats probably why there is such a big swing on the answers ......my thoughts carry on! Lee
Lee you have to remember there are those that use 1mm brass and the rest of us use 3mm brass! Yes I agree perhaps on this one I should have given more information, but a couple off mm on the brass isn't going to make such diverse pricing. Virtually every other price we where all in the ball park, but this one had large variations across the board. I would guess some have a price per job, others per inch of brass & even per letter/per inch pricing. Lee
