robinh
I've read a few very interesting posts recently, in particular those about the JR soles and the new Wares Executive from Charles Birch. Another post about stick on soles also caught my eye. Getting feedback on products is great....... as long as they are constructive and not destructive. Believe me it feels really good when one of your own products is praised - not so good when it is talked of in a derogatory manner. Like all other trade suppliers, our business is to provide you, because you effectively choose what your customers will have on their shoes, not them , with a choice. This choice is based basically on price. You can have low cost with the corresponding level of quality or you can pay more and expect a higher quality. It's your choice. JR leather enjoys an enviable reputation for being the best and if you have any issues with quality then Hans Rendenbach would like to hear from you. Leather is a natural product but the tanning process is very closely monitored and all aspects of production are carefully controlled . If you have ever seen it you will understand what I mean. Even so there will very occasionally be some which do not reach the normal high standards but which would also have been difficult to pick up even with the most stringent quality control. If you get a bad one - send it back . Our returns ratio on JR leather is far less than on other leathers and if it wasn't so good there would be no need for any other tanner to offer a comparable product . Would any of you be prepared to test my latest stick on sole and and provide an informed criticism on it ? Appearance, functionality, ease of use, customer satisfaction, price , potential faults etc ? ( it's not c**p before you start)

You know we cobblers are a suspicious lot, wanting things for nowt all the time and complaining when it is not the best quality even if free. I presume you will have these soles fitted onto shoes on display at the Exhibition for all to see!! PS, dont have the guy who did the Wares soles to do them for you

Hugh-Candoit (ENG)
Best test is to put your regular on one shoe and the new one on the other, as long as she wears the soles evenly that is, some are more heavy on one foot than the other. Ted Starzec
we are looking for a new "best" quality mens stick on sole. we are using the phillips at the moment; looks good but the wear isn't what we expect from our "best". Which is the top stick on sole; regardless of price
