Deanzke
No longer able to obtain original Dr marten units from Charles Birch?? I see there's kings and solovair but what about customers who want like for like?? Where do we go for that? I understand Charles birch have a deal with the boot company repairer in Leeds which is why there no longer supplying to trade.
x minit uk
It’s been like that for a while now. The king sole units are a lot heavier too. Deanzke
petercoulson
The makers of Dr Martens also make and own the soles and for a while now they will no longer supply outside of their company except to authorised repairers working on their behalf and if they were found to sell the soles on they no longer work for them

petercoulson
I'm nothing to do with Birch but in this instance it is Dr Martens themselves that stipulate the no sale policy and will remove the repairs from them if they do. This seems to be a worldwide policy and route they are taking.
