Ian platt Posted July 17, 2024 Report Share Posted July 17, 2024 Hi all does anyone have the ability to cut a Chubb detainer 110 key if given lever nos have a customer with a lock with 50 plus keys all copies poor copies looking to get a copy back to original so don’t have to change lock or make a new by hand (look for easy option ) pictures attached numbers are cut heights Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
grahamparker Posted July 17, 2024 Report Share Posted July 17, 2024 Yes, i have a silca idea so these are a doddle to cut a perfect copy on an original chubb blank. I would also recommend changing the curtain as well if it has that ammount of keys and has been used for a few years. Oh and NEVER lubricate the detainers clean them and leave them dry, the detainers have a habit of stick together, i have done hundreds of these over the past 40 odd years.
