Rub & Buff alternatives?

Hi all - I thought I'd ask the collective brains trust!

I occasionally use Rub and Buff to highlight text I've engraved on glass or trophies but as I use it so infrequently I only get two or three uses out of it before it goes hard and unusable.

Does anyone have any tips to keep it from going off or a cheaper alternative?

Pebeo Gedeo gilding wax.

But rub n buff lasts a long time if the cap doesn't crack.

Thank you, I'll try the Pebeo. I just find the rub & buff just goes off around the nozzle, even if the cap is intact. I use it very infrequently.

For the Glass I always use the paint supplied by Glass Scribe.

I go through about 3 pots a year, but very easy to apply and really quick drying, White is very good ive also tried the red and Black both of which have been slightly less user friendly but still my go to stuff.
