doug
Hello all, as of late when i power up my machine and set the Z it goes to home and waits for a file. If I press the go button it doesn't have a file to cut yet so it just sits there, then I open GS7 create a file and hit run. It sends and the machine receives it, problem is when I hit the go button it starts to engrave the file that was last done before turing it off. Now I have to remember to send it twice to get what I want Silly thing...
beware
The machine has no permanent memory, so it will be a print driver issue.
doug
Print driver in Windows? How would it remember my last file to print?
beware
My guess is the spooler is expecting the machine to confirm receipt of the job before it deletes the job. On rebooting the PC, the job is still in the spooler. It's an odd one certainly. You could try turning off bidirectional communication on the ports tab of the print driver settings.
