Jay
I have sandblasting unit but our air compressor died last weekend. Can you tell us whether this one will be a suitable replacement please http://mobile.ffx.co.uk/tools/product/Sealey%20Sac10030Ve%205051747880641%20Compressor%20100Ltr%20V%20Twin%20Direct%20Drive%203Hp?gclid=CJD2gpHA98gCFSLnwgodihAOpw I did call crystal galleries and he said it just needed to be 100L. Are there any other requirements? Will the pressure be high enough with this? Appreciate an advice
Gray
100 ltrs should be ok. I have a 50 and it struggles a bit......Needs to be oil free though or so I was told.
petercoulson
Jay it isn't the tank size that counts its the output (cfm) the more you spend the better it will be although a larger tank means less cutting in and out of the head - it has time to keep up and you don't drain the tank so quickly. I think it used to be a minimum of 8cfm. Oil less are ok but noisy, if you have space/money a Hydrovane is compressor of choice
