How long should it take to learn to trim a stilleto pu top or a basic ladies heel as a new comer into the trade?

I know eveyone is different, but what would you say is a reasonable time?

i would expect them to have the basics after a few hours and improved enough for you to be happy with the results after a couple of days. obviously that depends on whatever else they are learning at the same time. its all about the wrist action, we normally have them on the polishing mops first to get used to spinning the shoe in their hands. this way there is much less chance of causing any damage
