stevecoco
Just a long shot, are there any forum members, owners of a Gravograph LS100 in Scotland. If so would they like a little visit from me, need to get some good info on using the machine, finding it difficult understanding the manual. Monkey see, monkey do as they say. And yes I have had a half days training from Gravo, I have mastered some aspects but would like to learn more.

bigyin
Hi everybody. I've just joined the forum and this is my first post. I'm hoping somebody can help me out. We (my son and I) have just acquired a second hand LS100 for producing rubber stamps. We previously had an Epilog. We use CorelDraw for our artwork. On the Epilog, we used to do the artwork for the stamp (as normal but reversed and mirrored) and surround it with a very thin line that told the laser to cut. There would normally be several different sized stamps per job and we needed to surround the whole group of stamps with another thin line to tell the laser not to engrave outside that area. It was known as a "fence". In the case of the LS100 we produce the stamp images in the same way but the cut lines have to be red in colour. This bit works fine but we've been told by the previous owner of the machine that a "fence" is not required on the Gravograph. We've tried it but the laser tries to engrave the whole page. We also have a bit of a problem with page sizing and orientation which I'll post about another time if we can't sort it. Any advice would be most gratefully received. Regards, Roger
